About us

Nordic Equities Kapitalförvaltning

Nordic Equities was founded in 1993. We are an independent trustee with a theme driven “stock-picking”-oriented investment process. Today the company manages three funds – NE Strategy, NE Select and NE Sweden, and conducts discretionary management.

For two decades Nordic Equities has been meeting with Nordic companies, striving to find interesting investment ideas for our clients. Our advisory board, comprised of outside advisors with long international experience from companies such as Soros AM, Goldman Sachs and Merill Lynch AM, provide our team with valuable insight and knowledge. With a focused long-term investment strategy and a thorough investment philosophy, we aim to provide a strong return for our clients.

Nordic Equities clients are situated in Europe and consist primarily of institutions such as charity foundations, pension funds and banks, but there is also a large proportion of other companies and private individuals.

We believe that it is important to maintain a good and regular contact with our customers. We regularly arrange lunch presentations, where our clients are given the opportunity to meet influential representatives from leading Nordic companies, as well as representatives from Nordic Equities.

Investment Strategy

Our investment strategy is based on finding interesting investments in the Nordic market. Each company is classified and evaluated in different investment themes.

Characteristic of Nordic Equities is that we tend to hold relatively focused portfolios. Scandinavia, with its varied industrial structure, offers a wide range of sectors and companies. However, we do not seek to achieve an even geographical or sectorial spread of investments. Instead, we work with stockpicking, evaluating each company individually.

The fund’s holdings are divided into six different investment themes: companies with potential for change, companies with revaluation potential, cyclical companies, companies with high dividend rate, growth companies / firms with strong brands and companies subject to corporate transactions and restructurings.

Goal

We want to be the first choice for foundations, pension funds and individuals who want to invest long term in the Nordic equity markets. Our aim is to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
